Antique temple bell on chain

Beautiful antique brass temple bells on heavy brass chain.

This particular piece is round like a cow bell with beautiful branding/writing ‘Special  No22’ and has a very thick chain.

Traditionally these ‘ghantee’ are hung outside a holy shrine or place of worship and rung to alert the gods attention to listen to one’s prayers.

Each bell is a genuine antique, therefore one of a kind in size/shape and type of chain. Hand twisted brass clasp. 

Bell, antique patina brass, approx 10-12cm H

Chain- old brass, approx 50cm circle when clasped or 100cm if open and hung point to point.
