Antique temple bell on chain

Beautiful antique brass temple bells on heavy brass chain.

This particular piece has the most extraordinary chain- very heavy, with unique pattern and very dark brass patina. 

Traditionally these ‘ghantee’ are hung outside a holy shrine or place of worship and rung to alert the gods attention to listen to one’s prayers.

Each bell is a genuine antique, therefore one of a kind in size/shape and type of chain.

Chain- old brass, approx 34cm circle when clasped or 68cm if open and hung point to point.
