Bharani tins

Lovely old Indian brass bharani tins, originally used to store tea and pantry staples.

These tins are still the perfect size for keeping things stored on a kitchen shelf- visible of course.....

Beautiful old latch and handle, warm golden brass patina (and the added beauty of  dot-engraved Hindi along the side)

Although similar, each piece is a one-off with slight variations in size, shape and details.
