Vintage brass tiffin

Beautiful vintage brass tiffin.

This piece has a beautifully ornate handle and sweet pickle pot. Worn matte brass revealing some zinc patina. This particular tiffin assembly is a puzzle to work out....which simply adds to its charm !

A beautiful piece, with a unique profile, that will add interest to any shelf display, however is also functional with 3 good sized compartments+ pickle pot.

**Traditionally a tiffin is used to carry a hot meal, with rice, curry and flatbread in each compartment... much like a lunchbox, a tiffin is still widely used in India today.
