Lovely antique Indian hanging lota. Aged brass polished to a zinc patina, with 3 small chains leading to an ornate heavy chain and hook.
Approx 11cm high...chain hangs an extra 30cm.
A lota is traditionally used in Indian puja (blessing) rituals to store the sacred water.
In our modern lives, this makes a lovely decorative piece, or to hang flowers or plants.
