Antique paan box

A lovely old paan box, with more humble origins.

This piece is made from thin, lightweight brass, with delicate floral etching across the lid.

Delightfully, most of the original interior is still in place- a removable shelf with drop in compartments that would have contained the different ingredients used for the owner’s particular paan. 

Due to the fineness of the brass- it has minor imperfections, a dint on the side, and a little tear on one corner….yet still retains its beauty and reflect its wonderful history.
