Antique holy water pot

An antique holy water pot or ‘panch patra’ 

In India this little pot is used during puja ceremonies at home, or in a temple, to hold the holy water used for blessings. The water is gently flicked with the little spoon while chanting prayers. 

Heavy weighted with intricate engraving and an ornate spoon…. this piece may also, respectfully, be repurposed in our homes to hold salt or spices ….
